INTERPIPE NTRP theater presented the premiere of Gogol’s “The Inspector General” play

INTERPIPE NTRP non-academic “Karlaganka” theater has made its first performance on the large stage. The debut performance of the mill’s theater has presented the world famous and eternally modern comedy, based on the play by Nikolai Gogol “The Inspector General”.

All roles in the classical staging have been performed solely by top managers of the mill – Chairman of the Board and his Deputies, department managers and heads of divisions. The transformation of experienced managers has taken place under the direction of Vladimir Petrenko, famous Dnipropetrovsk director and artistic administrator of “We believe!” youth theater.

This performance, like the one, staged a little bit earlier at our Nikopol mill, has become a solution for several principal tasks at the production facilities of the Company. First of all, this is a change in the managers’ thinking, a shift from figures and plans to emotions and imagination, - INTERPIPE NTRP Chairman of the Board Vladimir Gornstein has commented. - In addition to that, joint rehearsals and agitation have really rallied all the guys, and we have become a full-grown theatrical troupe of actors and a real team. And in this way, through the theatrical performance, we will manage to change the thinking of our employees!”

“The most important thing is that people have a desire, that with all their professions, positions, and places of employment they find some kind of an outlet in theatrical performances, something they lack in their technical field. Probably, such possibility generates a feeling of harmony and a full-value life, - Vladimir Petrenko, performance director, has noted. – I am truly happy to get acquainted with that many interesting and nice people – I am on quite warm and even friendly terms with them now”.

“We have become quite close with our colleagues over the entire period of performance rehearsals and preparations. Every person is gifted by nature, and not all people are capable of showing their gifts and talents in their working environment. People uncover themselves at rehearsals, get closer to each other, and, strange as it may seem, their respect to each other is also growing. I have even come closer to myself: I have found out that I can do things I have never thought about”, - INTERPIPE NTRP Finance and Economy Manager Sergei Kuzmenko has commented.

The première was presented in the “closed” format – only for mill’s employees and the mass media.
